Parking MR and GR rates include up to four car park spaces - book both rooms and get up to 8 parking spaces!

We operate a Lettings Policy which places some restrictions on the uses of the Meeting House - for example, no alcohol. Please see terms and conditions of hire

Room rates include room for time specified and four parking spaces (for daytime bookings) and equate to only  £8.75 per hour for the Garden Room for non-commercial groups for the day and equate to only £5 per hour for the use of the Quaker Lounge in the evening!

***Non-commercial reduced rates do not apply on Saturdays or Sundays or Friday evenings.   On Sundays, the commercial evening rate applies to both the evening and the afternoon session.

                     A green oasis at the front and car park entrance off St.Mark's Street below:

                    

                   Street Scene (below) shows the Meeting House on the right immediately                              before The Eldon Pub and opposite Leeds Universities Mechanical Engineering                        building as you travel uphill from Leeds City Center on the A660 towards                                Headingley ie 300 meters beyond the University entrance / Parkinson Building                        with the clock tower and grandsteps.  The St.Mark's street entrance is                                    immediately between the Meeting House and the Eldon Pub, the car park                                entrance is the first turning on the right off St.Mark's Street ie 25 meters.                                                                               

                     

                     The bus stop from Leeds is opposite the Meeting House and called 'The Eldon                      Stop' (buses run every few minutes: bus 1 from City Square/train station and                          bus 6,28, 56,97 from bus station).  All buses stop at St.John's and Merrion                              Centre (the direction of travel is uphill - single tickets from the bus/train station                      are £2 and from St.John's or Merrion Centre £1). 

                     Satnav reference is LS2 9DX but some satnavs can wrongly take you to the                        street on the other side of The Eldon! 

                     Taxi / private hire fares from the train station are about £5 

                     Walking: uphill all the way following signs for Leeds University - continue along                      the road for a further 300 meters after the main University entrance - from the                        train station this will take 20 to 30 minutes depending on your walking speed.
